How did you get into volunteering?

Invited by friends to get involved.

What do you enjoy most about volunteering?

Giving back to the community and meeting like-minded people from very different backgrounds.

Is there anything you find challenging about volunteering?

Physical work after life time of office work.

What would you tell someone who is thinking about volunteering?

Volunteering is a great way to get to know people particularly when you move to a new location. Currently I am at my third Rotary Club and all have been welcoming, warm and add value to the community.

Do you have a final comment or story to share?

All volunteer groups need members. Sad to hear local Scouts shut due to lack of Leaders. Encourage all to step up and give something back by being involved in at least one group.
