Goulburn River Books run by Friends of the Library Alexandra Inc. 99 Grant Street, Alexandra, Vic, 3714. Have been in this capacity for 18 years. I hold the primary position of being the Book Shops’s Co-Ordinator/Manager

How did you get into volunteering?

Previous contact with another Volunteer.

What do you enjoy most about volunteering?

Serving the Community and getting the satisfaction of knowing that value has been added to people’s life experience.

Is there anything you find challenging about volunteering?

Responsibility involved in co-ordinating all related considerations.

What would you tell someone who is thinking about volunteering?

Punctuality, reliability/dependability, diligence, trustworthiness/honesty are important traits.
