Were you impacted by the October 2022 Floods?
Do you have a story to tell to help others in the community?

Disaster recovery looks different for everyone. Murrindindi Shire Council invites you to share your story about how you, your business or your community was impacted and the recovery experience so far. By sharing your story about what helped and what challenges you have faced, you can help others with their recovery.

The Flood Recovery Program aims to build resilience for those communities that have been impacted by the October 2022 floods, This includes community members whose farms, businesses, families and residences may have been impacted.

The flood recovery team see the Reflections on Resilience Project as a great opportunity to help deliver the "People and Wellbeing" outcome of the Murrindindi Flood Recovery Plan.

Natural disasters are not a new occurrence. Many residents have had a lot of experience in battling natural disasters, they have much to share with us on resilience in difficult times. Reflections on Resilience will form part of an uplifting collection of stories on disaster recovery over a series of happenings within living memory.

If you would like to get involved please contact Council's Community Recovery Officer, Vee Scott on 5772 0333 or email vscott@murrindindi.vic.gov.au. Alternatively complete the EOI form below.
