It is also a Services Australia agent providing Centrelink services and runs the L2P program for learner drivers. ACH is also a Registered Training Organisation and runs training courses such as Responsible Service of Alcohol, Food Handler and Food Supervisors, First Aid and Cert III in Individual Support.
What opportunities are there for people who may like to volunteer with your group or organisation?
General office duties such as answering phone, filing, setting up rooms and generally assisting the Co-ordinator:
- As a mentor driver in the L2P program
- As a board member
- As a Services Australia agent assisting people with there access to MyGov
What benefits do volunteers bring to your group or organisation?
ACH
cannot operate without volunteers both at board level and in all the activities
that we engage in with the community. We are especially in need of people to
participate at board level. Without volunteers especially at board level we
cannot continue to operate and it is becoming increasing difficult to find
people who are willing to contribute their time to our organisation.
