The Alexandra Timber Tramway & Museum (ATTM) is a major visitor attraction in the Shire of Murrindindi. We've been operating for over 35 years by a small group of motivated and committed volunteers who provide many hours of unpaid skilled and unskilled work.
Our Vision is to be a leading educational and tourist destination in Alexandra built around a high quality museum and an extensive, regularly operating railway with strong connections to our community and our local history.
What opportunities are there?
- Learning new skills in museum administration.
- Gardens and site maintenance.
- Learning new skills in rail safety work including safety management.
- Assisting with visiting groups, open days and markets.
What benefits do volunteers bring to your group and organisation?
- They provide experience and expertise in their choice of duties.
- Pride in our community heritage.
- Share the history of the railway and local district.
