The Kinglake Ranges Neighbourhood House is a community based and managed organisation. We provide opportunities for people to meet and participate in a variety of social, educational and recreational programs, activities and services where every person is valued and accepted. We employ 3 part-time staff and are led by a volunteer Committee of Management. We also auspice the following groups that aren't Incorporated: Kinglake Landcare, Kinglake Ranges Arts, Kinglake Historical Society and House groups: Knit Knacks, Boomerang Bags, Buzz of the Bees.

What opportunities are there?

The Neighbourhood House engages volunteers at our Social Enterprise Opportunity Shop, in our community garden, administrative duties within the KRNH plus volunteers who are affiliated with our auspice groups: Kinglake Landcare, Kinglake Ranges Arts, Kinglake Historical Society and House groups: Knit Knacks, Boomerang Bags, Buzz of the Bees. The House also requires volunteer support for our Foodshare Program, kitchen assistance for our Winter Warmers Program, volunteer class and course tutors and volunteer support and performers for some of our special events e.g. Community Christmas Carols.
