What opportunities are there?

We offer training each year for people that would like to volunteer to become presenters or assist presenters to broadcast programs on a regular basis be they music, news or sport based. You can also train in emergency broadcasting.

There are also opportunities to help behind the scenes, from technical to production and maintenance of the station. We regularly broadcast from events and activities from across the Shire of Murrindindi where volunteers can be involved in all aspects of Outside Broadcasts.
With studios located across the Murrindindi Shire it is easy to become involved.

What benefits do volunteers bring to your group and organisation?

Volunteers bring a wide variety of programs and knowledge to the station and impart this to their listeners. Broadcasting local news, music and information from around the Murrindindi Shire being a big part of why people listen, with input from local communities through our studios located across the listening area.

Broadcasting during emergencies is critical in helping to keep the community at large up to date, helping them to make informed decisions that may save their lives.
Behind the scenes, maintenance of studios, generators and transmission equipment is all performed by our volunteers.
